Welcome back and hello to hundreds of new subscribers since our last issue.

I can't believe how many of you join each and every week, and I can't tell you how happy and priviledged I feel to be able to spill my guts to such a great group of people.

Really!

So, now I have to keep my end of the bargain and I think I've done it this week.

Even though the economy and world situation continue to be somewhat dismal, things with the online marketing world have been SIZZLING!

Today's feature article is a Non-hype, No Bull look at a much hyped product from 18-year old marketing sensation Joe Kumar.

You'll find out how to learn incredible online marketing secrets from Joe without even buying his product!

I also wanted to tell you about an incredible site for those of us addicted to product ideas and product development.

It's right here:

===> http://www.infoproductcreator.com/part/myers/

It's run by the fabulous Bill Myers - an incredible creative genius that has been pumping out amazingly simple business ideas people have used to change their lives in mere days.

You can get a good feel for his site by downloading some of his free articles - but let me tell you - be prepared to stay up late if you decide to explore his entire site!

I get asked all the time about ezines I find valuable.

I wanted to single out ProbizTips By Diane Hughes

One of only a small handful of newsletters I read on a weekly basis, Diane puts together a great summary of the most useful information I need each week. Check it out here:

http://www.probiztips.com

Finally, I wanted to highlight a few names of people who provided incredible feedback to me on my latest survey.

The response was superb and greatly appreciated. I will follow up next issue with some of the results and how I intend to continually improve YOUR ezine.

FEATURE ARTICLE

Here It Is! The Perfect Marketing Launch

Copyright 2003 - Jeff Smith

You've heard of the Perfect Storm?

Now you have the Perfect Launch.

Everyone on the internet is drooling over the very first product introduced by 18-year old Joe Kumar.

His product:

"30 Days To Internet Marketing Success" found right here: http://www.infoproductcreator.com/part/jkumar/

While there is heated discussion over how good his product is (and it IS good), you can learn ALLOT without even buying the product.

That's right.

You can learn a MASSIVE amount about successfully launching your own infoproduct by tracking Joe's launch sequence.

Here's what I mean...

LESSON 1: Clearly Identify and Niche Market and Find Out What They Want.

He's done that - it's newbies and intermediates that want to ramp up their online business using insider information from those who have done it in max 30-days.

LESSON 2: Make Sure the Information You Provide Is Credible, Proven and is Exactly What People Want.

Instead of writing on a topic Joe has limited experience with (after all, he is just 18!) he defers to the experts, and does a great job at convincing them to help him get this unique product idea to market.

LESSON 3: Don't Do What Everyone Else Does - Be Unique

What does everyone else do? Either, they write their own single 30 day roadmap or they interview experts, usually asking the same old questions which have been heard before.

Instead, he gave it a few hours thought and came up with a scenario question that forced these gurus to reach down and give their entire success roadmap leading to a 30-day roadmap under the same conditions his target market will have to operate within (no money, no list, no contacts, and no past products)

LESSON 4: Leverage the Experts

Starting with Mark Joyner, Joe leveraged one expert after another - very focused, very confident (even a tad cocky at times :), and always building relationships.

He had the courage to approach his mentors. Then he had the you-know-what to play one off of the other until he had an incredible list of winners on his side.

LESSON 5: Price Your Product By the Perceived Value of the Information

Not by the regular price of similar products on the market.

What's this, a newbie pricing his product at $97 out of the shute!

The nerve.

Exactly! And you'll do well to get some nerve to, that's more than half the battle to being successful.

LESSON 6: (This One Is Brilliant!) Price Your Product High Enough That You Can Give a Very High Commission To The Power List Brokers

Why do you think Joe's product has been endorsed and takes priority mailouts to the really BIG and RESPONSIVE lists out there - because he has created an irresistible offer to his partners. And he's made sure there are still profits at the end.

Way to many new (and experienced) product developers under-price their products.

They can't attract partners, give most of their profits away, and wonder why this business is so darn hard for a few hundred bucks a month.

LESSON 6: Built In Added Value

He'll severely limit his returns, dissatisfaction and gain more customers because he's committed to sending out another volume in a couple of months.

Regardless of whether you feel the product is priced too high, whether the product is good, you can learn a TON about marketing infoproducts online from the simple rollout of Joe's book.

One word on Joe's product itself.

It's good - because of the contributors and the question he asked, you'll be more than happy with the 500+ pages of pure gold you get from internet marketing's elite players.

Now Joe, sit back and enjoy!! But not too long, there's always another product to be developed!

SIT DOWN WITH THE EXPERTS

Damon Zahariades - 3 CRITICAL Lessons From An Experienced Online Marketer

Special Interview Excerpt

Today

Damon Zahariades is the dymanic young developer of the well respected and powerful Special Report Bible - http://www.infoproductcreator.com/part/damon.html

I talk to Damon often - part of a mini-mastermind group I rely on to bounce ideas off of.

He's a really great guy, super successful and has rubbed noses with the best of the best in this industry.

In a recent conversation we had, he agreed to share his 3 most CRITICAL LESSONS learned from years of successful online marketing.

Only the school of hard knocks teaches you things like this, that's why it's so valuable to hear it from the voice of experience.

Enjoy!

If you've missed some of our past POWER Interviews with the experts, then you'll want to hear what Joe Vitale, Yanik Silver, Marc Goldman, Damon Zahariades, Willie Crawford and many others are doing to create, and grow their own Infoproduct Empires. Check out our archives right here...

Now, for this week's interview excerpt!

Jeff [Question]

Damon, would you agree that creating successful infoproducts is often a matter of finding what the hot markets are now, who's publishing what, in what format - then tap into pockets of demand by doing something a little different within that same market?

Damon [Answer]

Yes, that's a great point.

I don't know if you would agree with me or not Jeff, but when you are creating a Special Report, I would PREFER that there be other competitors out there.

Jeff [Question]

Absolutely, if you are all alone in a market, then your chance of success goes way down.

Damon [Answer]

Yes, take the Special Report Bible as an example: http://www.infoproductcreator.com/part/damon.html

There are dozens and dozens of books out there on how to create your own information products. I saw that as an opportunity, not as something that would keep me out of the market.

Now, the results - without giving exact numbers, I've made in the 10,000's of dollars with that one product.

Jeff [Question]

Exactly. The ways that you can differentiate yourself is not so much in the market or topic you choose, but in the solution or information that you provide. So getting into a hot topic space with other competitors is really what you want to do - it's the best approach, and then your differentiator is coming up with your own steps to solving the problem, and that's easier than most people think it is.

Damon [Answer]

Ya, I agree.

You know, one example is Allen Says of The Warrior Group - his product Internet Cash Machine.

For those of your listeners that are not aware of this product, it is a 17-page Special Report, I have the .pdf version, where Allen lays out how to write your own digital product - whether it's software, special report or ebook.

Now his information was not the first on the market. There are several other products out there that tell the exact same thing, but Allen packaged it in such a way to sell 100's and 100's of those things and made quite a bin of money.

The idea was already out there, people were already attracted to the idea, Allen Sayes noticed the opportunity, wrote his own thing and is making money. Any one of your listeners could do exactly the same thing.

Jeff [Question]

That's a terrific example.

Can you fill us in a little on what you learned through the process of developing your infoproducts. Assuming that our listeners understand the process of finding ideas now, that they don't have to work months or years on creating their own products - that they can get something out, at least to test it - in a very short period of time.

When you first entered the market with your Special Report Bible, what things did you learn right away. What sorts of things did you find out that may save our listeners some time and what advice can you give them?

Damon [Answer]

As far as things I learned that are CRITICAL, there are 3!

The first thing is that marketing is absolutely critical.

That may sound like a no-brainer to some of your listeners, they may be rolling their eyes at me.

But it took me a while to realize that - hey! I have this great product, I control the distribution, pricing, quality each one of those is where I want it to be.

But, when I first put up my site for The Special Report Bible (http://www.infoproductcreator.com/part/damon.html) - know one came, no one saw it because no one new about it.

So I learned right off the bat, hey you could have the best product in the world - whether it's 300 pages like my book or a 20-page special report, if you don't tell people about it, you're not going to sell anything.

Once I started marketing it to my newsletter list [Editor Note: Damon started building his newsletter list before he created his products], well the product took off. People started buying right off the bat.

The first thing is that marketing and promotion is absolutely critical.

Second thing, word of mouth. That is also critical. People in this industry talk to each other. Whether it's on discussion boards, or on the phone, like you and me Jeff, the major guys in this industry all know about each other and they all talk about products with each other.

I've had some people email me, big names in the industry, that said don't read this guy's product, it's not good, I wouldn't buy it, I wouldn't read it, I wouldn't waste my time.

You want to be careful of word of mouth.

Build quality into your Special report. You'll be thanking yourself later or kicking yourself in the butt if you don;t do it.

The third thing, the third and last thing is listen to feedback.

Some of it, honestly some of it will not be valid feedback, but much of it WILL be valid feedback - but pay attention to it all, that way you can sift through it all and decide what is valid or invalid based on your own personal experience and your own personal testing.

EDITOR'S NOTE Thanks to Damon for sharing his success secrets with us. If you haven't considered a 15-20 page special report to sell online, help you build affiliates, market your services or build your online branding - then you may be missing out on one of the most powerful internet marketing tools out there.

** Comparing Google Adwords To Overture PPC - Overture Appears To Win!

Interesting review of the two GIANT PPC engines. Who should you put your money with?

While the results indicate a "too close to call" decision, there are signs that Overture may actually produce better than Google's PPC service.

This is somewhat different than what you will hear in most of the media.

Great article to try and compare apples to apples...though either way you slice it, them's BIG apples!
